Paul McCartney Releases "Good Evening New York City"
Last July, Paul McCartney performed to a crowd of over 120,000 during a three-day inaugural concert to help christen New York's Citi Field. Although professionals were on hand to help film the historic concert, fans were also given 75 hand-held video cameras to tape their unique vantage point and experiences at the event.
The video was compiled into "Good Evening New York City," a multi-disc CD/DVD, available Nov. 17 by Hear Music/Concord Music Group. The concert footage will also air on ABC on Thanksgiving night at 9 p.m. EST.
The concerts recall McCartney's time spent with the Beatles, when the insanely popular band played at the Mets' former home, Shea Stadium, reports Bloomberg.
The concert spans many famous Beatles classics as well as McCartney's biggest Wings and solo hits, including "Hey Jude," "Yesterday," "Band on the Run" and 30 others, according to PopMatters.
The standard version of "Good Evening New York City" is available at Starbucks or wherever music is sold and at PaulMcCartney.com.
