Fox Sets Up Midseason Schedule
Fox announced today the winter's new and old returning shows. "Lie To Me" has been ordered for a full season. "American Idol" is coming back with a two-night season premiere Jan. 12 and 13.
The suspense drama "24" will start it's new season Jan. 17 and 18 with a two-night, four-hour opening.
It will be the 450th episode for "The Simpsons" on Jan. 10. Fox will follow the episode with a one-hour showcase documentary, "The Simpsons 20th Anniversary Special."
"Fringe" which has been having some ratings trouble will remain on Thursday night until Feb. 11. A new drama "Past Life" will take over for "Fringe." "Fringe" will return Apr. 1. On Jan. 22, Fox will also air the series finale of the canceled show "Dollhouse."
Fox is hoping to give a boost to their new show "Human Target." It will be lucky enough to be the lead-in show to "American Idol."
