OTH: Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Nov. 27

This year, the traditional Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will be hosted by Meredith Vieira, Matt Lauer, and Al Roker of NBC's "Today." According to the Mankato Free Press, "This year's parade features about 60 different balloons and floats, 10 marching bands and more than 1,500 dancers, cheerleaders, singers, and performers."

The parade will float along a new route through the streets of New York, starting at 77th street and Central Park West. The parade will also feature four new balloons- Spiderman, Ronald McDonald, The Pillsbury Doughboy, and Sailor Mickey. As for new floats, Santa's gets a makeover for the first time in 40 years.

Featured musicians will include: season 5 "American Idol" runner-up Katharine McPhee, "30 Rock" star Jane Krakowski, Boys Like Girls, Jimmy Fallon and The Roots, R&B star Jay Sean, Mitchell Musso of "Hannah Montana," Tiffany Thornton of "Sonny With a Chance," Carly Simon, Gloria Gaynor, and country singer Billy Currington.
