Michael Lohan Owes $15,000 in Child Support

Michael Lohan is more than $15,000 behind in child support, reported TMZ.

The notorious attention-seeking father of Lindsay Lohan has $15,100 in unpaid child support.

The money owned to Dina Lohan, his ex-wife, goes toward supporting his three younger children; Aliana, Michael Jr., and Dakota Lohan.

Lohan had been under criticism from his daughter Lindsay, who also wrote a song about him and his constant neglect throughout her life.

Recently Lohan released recorded conversations he had with Lindsay and her mother, Dina. The recordings were private phone conversations between them, and apparently were illegally made.

In 2005 Dina obtained a protective order which banned Lohan from communicating with her through phone or e-mail until 2011.

The release of those taped phone recordings which Lohan claimed took place in 2008 would mean he broke the protective order and, if convicted, could mean prison time for Lohan.

Lohan released the phone conversations in order to, he claimed, expose Lindsay's problems and get her some help.
