Tiger Woods Released From Hospital After Car Crash
Tiger Woods received injuries after a car crash early Friday, reported NY Times.
Woods was released from the hospital after he was taken for a car crash while pulling out of his driveway.
The 33-year-old golf star hit a fire hydrant and a tree while backing from his driveway in his 2009 Cadillac from his $2.4 million home at the Isleworth near Orlando, at 2:25 a.m. The Florida Highway Patrol reported his injuries to be serious but was released in good condition from the hospital.
The accident is still under investigation but it is known alcohol was not involved.
Woods has won 14 major titles worldwide and 82 tournaments. This year he won six times after having reconstructive surgery on his left knee, which caused him to miss eighth months.
Woods is scheduled to host the Chevron World Challenge tournament on Monday at the Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, California.
