Oprah to Interview Obama for Holiday Special at the White House
Oprah Winfrey is set to interview Barack Obama for a Holiday special, reported Reuters.
The daytime talk show host will interview the President of the United States at the White House for the first time since Obama took office.
The interview will be aired as a primetime Holiday special on ABC on December 13 at 10 p.m.
The network showing of "Christmas at the White House: An Oprah Primetime Special" will feature Winfrey interviewing the President along with a tour of the White House.
Obama has been the only presidential candidate Winfrey had publicly endorsed and supported.
Although she appeared at the Chicago rally and the inauguration in January, Winfrey has not been involved with the politics since Obama took office.
After 23 years of "The Oprah Winfrey Show," Winfrey announced the end of the talk show as she will continue working on her network OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network.)
The syndicated talk show will be running until 2011.
