Ray Romano Makes a Comeback
Ray Romano, lead actor from the TV sitcom, "Everybody Loves Raymond," is back. But this time he is the creative mind behind his new show. "Men of a Certain Age" will be his first appearance on television since 2005, when "Raymond" came to an end.
The new show will follow three friends in their middle ages, and all that that involves. It stars Andre Braugher and Scott Bakula.
And because the male dominated series is a little different than the popular shows of today, Romano is nervous.
"Yes, I'm nervous about this," he said to The Los Angeles Times. "There are so many things I'm worried about. Will people watch? What will people think of me in this role? What if it doesn't get picked up? What if it does get picked up and we've got to do another season?"
At first, Romano and Mike Royce, his partner in production and creation of the show, planned to air the series on HBO. But now the two will be sending the show to TNT, where they will be able to air a more traditional half hour sitcom.
