ABC invites Adam Lambert back
After Adam Lambert's man-on-man television kiss, ABC wanted nothing to do with the "American Idol" star. Until now.
ABC cancelled his performance with "Jimmy Kimmel Live." And "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve." And "Good Morning America. But he is back. The network has invited Lambert, 27, to make an appearance on "The View," where he will also perform a song, according to People magazine.
"ABC has taken a step towards fairness by inviting Adam Lambert to perform on The View," Jarrett Barrios, President of the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD), told Usmagazine.com in a statement. "GLAAD has been advocating against the double standards that have been applied to Lambert as an openly gay performer."
Lambert refused to apologize for his sexual performance but publicly admitted to going too far.
