James Cameron Makes a New World in

James Cameron has invented a new word that is strangely close to ours in his new film, "Avatar".

James Cameron is no stranger to large and intense movies where he tackles the imaginary world, or huge disasters. The director takes on an imaginary world in the new movie, "Avatar" which will premiere December 18.

After directing large films such as: the first two Terminator pictures, Aliens, The Abyss and Titanic, Cameron now takes on the sci-fi drama about a disabled ex-soldier who gets a second chance at being able to walk again if he takes part in an experiment that will transform him into an Avatar and relocate to their planet Pandora. Ex-Marine Jake Sully gets a chance to go to Pandora to explore the native Na'vi's and see what their world is like.

Cameron started brainstorming for the film as early as 1994 and wanted the film to debut before Titanic. Fox movies has said that this film is the costliest film they have done yet. Will 'Avatar' do better than Titanic? The effects are sure to be much different than those used in Titanic because of the 13 year gap in between the two.

"Avatar" has a love story between the main character Jake Sully and Zoe Saldana's character which is a native to Pandora. The interesting take on an inter-species love story has relations to our own planet here. Skin color also played an important role. He wanted the aliens to be a different color than the clich
