Biggest Loser Danny's Weight Loss is Influencing Family
Danny Cahill, NBC's The Biggest Loser's most recent champion, lost a whopping 239 pounds. However, when he arrives home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, he will soon discover he's not the only one who underwent a dramatic makeover; his wife has recently lost over 60 pounds. It seems as if motivation to lose weight might be contagious in the Cahill family.
Cahill, 39, told E! Online, "When I left for the ranch, my wife weighed 217 pounds, and she has lost over 60 pounds and is now in the 150s, and she wants to get down another 15 to 20 pounds to get to her goal weight. . . My in-laws and my extended family, they've started losing weight too."
In the midst of the holiday season, Cahill does admit he's afraid of regaining the weight, but he is determined not to give up. "I now have the knowledge to keep it off, and the thing that I'm going to have to do is stay diligent and not give up, not stop. An object in motion tends to stay in motion, an object that is at rest tends to stay at rest, and that's just the same way it is with us as human beings."
At the Tuesday night finale of the show, it was revealed that Cahill lost 68.14 percent of his beginning weight of 430, weighing in at 191 pounds.
