The third 'Twilight' installment will be released in IMAX theatres.

Soon young females will have the chance to get even closer to Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. The next film in the tremendously popular 'Twilight' series, "Eclipse," is the first of the films being filmed for IMAX theatres, reports OK! Magazine. Unlike other IMAX films, "Eclipse" will be released on the same day in IMAX and regular screen size.

"'Twilight' moviegoers will have a whole new way to experience this next installment, with the enhanced image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience putting them in the movie," Richie Fay, Summit Entertainment's President of Domestic Theatrical Distribution, told OK!. Sounds like a dream come true for aforementioned 'Twilight' fans.

"Twilight", the first film of the series, grossed $69 million its opening weekend; "New Moon," the second film, has grossed $500 million worldwide so far.

"Eclipse" is currently scheduled for nationwide release on June 30, 2010.
