Jon Gosselin is at it again
Team Jon lovers will be sad to know that Jon Gosselin's media appearances have now come to an end. On Thursday, a Maryland judge granted a preliminary injunction ordering the dad of eight to stop popping up all over the TV. The judge ruled in favor of TLC, the cable network that donned Gosselin's life story, "Jon and Kate Plus 8."
Gosselin was apparently violating TLC's contract with his paid and unpaid media appearances, and TLC was happy with the ruling, according to People magazine.
Gosselin was unhappy with TLC's decision, because he didn't show up for the hearing. Guess he didn't want any negative media attention. His attorney, Mark Heller, denied that Gosselin had done wrong and pointed fingers at TLC's suit, claiming it was a "baseless action."
Edward Sabin, TLC's chief operating officer, testified that Gosselin's behavior is embarrassing. Apparently, Gosselin showed up at a Las Vegas pool party, surrounded by women wearing bikinis. Sabin didn't like this too much, as he said that Gosselin's behavior is "inconsistent with the image of our show."
A trial for the case has been set for April 19.
