Tyson Beckford Sues Diddy

Tyson Beckford sues Sean Combs over copyright infringement.

Model Tyson Beckford is suing Sean "Diddy" Combs for $5 million for breach of contract and copyright infringement. Beckford was the face of Combs' Sean John clothing line. He claims that Combs declined to pay him for the advertising campaign. Beckford was to get four payments of $300,000. According to Beckford, he was paid the first and half of the second installments. It took a few months before the rest of the second installment was paid. He says that he never received the third and fourth payments. After trying to collect the money, Beckford was told that the ads would stop, but his name and image still continued to appear. A court date is scheduled at the Southern District Court of New York on February 6.
