Judge Freezes Suge Knight's Assets
Not only did he just get shot in the leg, but now rap mogul Marion "Suge" Knight's assets have been frozen as well. In March, a judge ordered Knight to pay $107 million to the wife of Michael "Harry-O" Harris, an imprisoned drug dealer. His wife, Lydia, claims that she helped launch Death Row Records and in turn is owed money from the label. Michael Harris filed for divorce from his wife in June after finding out about the money that she would be given from Knight. Michael Harris believes that he should get half of the money given to her by Knight. The judge froze Knight's assets after finding out that he would not provide information regarding the lawsuit. According to Knight's lawyer Steven M. Goldberg, Knight was put into the mix to stop him from "disposing or transferring his assets away."
