Britney Spears gives birth to a baby boy.

Pop singer Britney Spears gave birth to a baby boy today. Spears checked into Santa Monica's UCLA Medical Center around 6 a.m. for a C-section. The baby was born around 1 p.m. this afternoon. The baby's name has yet to be revealed. US Weekly claims that Spears was going to name the baby Preston Michael Spears Federline while the U.K.'s Sky News said she was going to name the baby London after the city where her and her husband Kevin Federline fell in love.

This is the first child for Spears. Federline already has two children, 3-year-old Kori and 1-year-old Kaleb, with ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson. Spears and Federline were married in September 2004 and announced her pregnancy back in April.

Spears' new fragrance Fantasy Britney Spears was set to launch tomorrow.
