Agent 86 Dies at 82
Comedic actor Don Adams passed away on Sunday from a lung infection.
Don Adams, who played agent Maxwell Smart on TV's Get Smart passed away last night at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center at the age of 82. A lung infection took the actor's life. Adams had been sick for over a year since he broke his hip.
The Emmy winning Get Smart was a spoof of James Bond films. The 1960's comedy was created by Mel Brooks. Adams played clumsy secret agent Maxwell Smart who, along with Barbara Feldon's Agent 99, fought to stop Kaos from taking over the world. Adams' Smart character started catch phrases like "Would you believe...?"and "Sorry about that, chief."
