Cage Becomes a Family Man

Actor Nicolas Cage and his wife Alice Kim Cage welcomed a baby boy into their family this morning in New York City. The couple named the baby Kal-el Coppola Cage. The Oscar winning actor, who is a big fan of Superman, named the baby after the superhero whose birth name was Kal-el. This is the second child for the 41-year-old Leaving Las Vegas star and his wife's first. He has a 14-year-old son from a previous relationship.

Cage met his 21-year-old wife in February 2004 at a sushi restaurant where she was a waitress. The two married in June 2004 in a private ceremony, two months after his marriage to Lisa-Marie Presley was finalized. Nicolas Cage is the nephew of Godfather director Francis Ford Coppola.
