Is It Over for Nick and Jessica?

Us Weekly reports that the Newlyweds couple have split.

According to Us Weekly magazine, Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey are ending their marriage just shy of their three-year anniversary. The magazine claims that the two split a couple of months ago because of her father's constant presence in the couple's life, as well as her ego and constant partying. Life & Style magazine also features a cover story about the split.

On the other hand, Simpson's father and her rep told E! that the couple is still together.

The couple was married on October 26, 2002 in Jessica's home state of Texas. Rumors of the couple's split have been going around since Jessica became the breakout star of the couple's reality show, Newlyweds. Since then, Simpson's career has skyrocketed with a hit CD, book, cosmetics line, and the role of Daisy Duke in this past summer's Dukes of Hazzard. Lachey's solo album didn't fair as well. Lachey recently signed on as a commentator for ESPN's College Game Day.
