SpielbergˆIt's in the Game

Steven Spielberg and Electronic Arts will join forces to create video games and films.

Director Steven Spielberg signed a deal with video game company Electronic Arts to collaborate on the creation of three new video games. In the deal, Spielberg will get the ability to transform the games into films or TV shows while EA will own "the intellectual properties" of the games. Spielberg will have an office in the EA building in Playa Vista, California and will be consulted throughout the game making process. The games will be made for use on the newest gaming systems like Nintendo Revolution, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3.

Electronic Arts bought Spielberg's DreamWorks Interactive in 2001 which in turn became EALA.
