Charles Rocket’s death is reported to be a suicide.

It was reported that comedian Charles Rocket’s death was a result of suicide. Rocket’s body was found on October 7 in a field near his home in Connecticut with his throat slashed. Coroners believe that the injury was self inflicted. The 56-year-old actor, whose real name is Charles Claverie, was a cast member of Saturday Night Live in the 1980-1981 season. He was part of the Weekend Update segment of the show. Rocket is infamously known for accidentally saying the “f” word on live TV during a “Who Shot J.R.” skit on SNL. Rocket had movie roles playing Nicholas Andre in Dumb and Dumber and Kyle Jacobs in It’s Pat. He was also in Dances with Wolves and appeared on television shows.
