Chung and Povich Host New Show

Connie Chung and husband Maury Povich will host a headline news show on MSNBC.

Maury Povich and wife Connie Chung will be hosting a national news show together for the first time. The show, which doesn't have a name yet, was created by Lizz Winstead, the co-creator and former head writer of The Daily Show. The couple, who have been married for twenty years, will discuss the week's headlines including politics and pop culture. The show will air four times on weekends and will debut January 7at 10 a.m. on MSNBC.

Chung previously worked at CBS and had a prime-time show on CNN. Povich hosted A Current Affair from 1986-1990. For the past eight years, he has been hosting daytime talk show Maury.
