Stern Suspended
Infinity Broadcasting suspended Howard Stern on Tuesday.
Howard Stern was suspended from his radio show on Tuesday. According to rumors, the suspension was for promoting his new gig on Sirius Satellite Radio. Karen Mateo, a spokesperson for Infinity Broadcasting, the company that owns the radio stations that Stern's show airs on, would not say why the shock jock was suspended, but just that he should be back on air on Wednesday. Infinity Broadcasting stations played "best of" clips on Tuesday's show instead. Stern's last show on FM radio will be on December 16. He will take the show to Sirius in January.
