The Rolling Stones tour of 2005 is counted as the most successful tour of all time. As reported by the US trade publication Pollstar, the veteran rockers have broken their own 11-year-old record by selling $162 million worth of tickets and playing an astounding 42 performances in front of over 1.2 million fans. U2 came in second with a worth of $138.9 million ticket sales and 78 US and Canadian tour spots. Celine Dion, Sir Paul McCartney, and The Eagles rounded out the top five, respectively.
