Caustic "American Idol" judge Simon Cowell has decided to inflict himself on another batch of would-be musicians. In his new show, "Duets," Cowell will not act as a judge, but as the executive producer of the show. Fox TV has been reported to give Cowell the go-ahead, depending on who is scheduled to appear; Cowell is reported to be searching for celebrities to perform in the summer run of the series. The premise of the show is each duo will have a musical theme to pick songs from, with viewers deciding which of the duo to vote off. Cowell is also reported to be executive producing "American Inventor," an ABC reality show searching for the next great product.
