McGraw, Clarkson, Green Day Win People's Choice Awards

Country crooner Tim McGraw, American Idol Kelly Clarkson, and alternative rock band Green Day took home top awards in the 32nd annual People's Choice Awards. Clarkson won best female performer, McGraw best male performer, and Green Day best group. U2 won for best tour, and Jessica Simpson won best song from a movie, for her cover of the Nancy Sinatra song "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'," performed in the film remake of "The Dukes of Hazzard." Jennifer Garner ("Elektra") won best female action and TV star, and "Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith" won favorite movie and favorite movie drama. Finally, Ellen DeGeneres repeated her 2005 wins for favorite daytime talk show host and funny female star.
