No, I’m not being “rather glib”: rumors report that Tom Cruise (“Mission Impossible: 2”) may have axed a steamy nude scene with his fiancée, Katie Holmes (“Batman Begins”), in her upcoming film “Thank You For Smoking.” The film has Holmes’ character in a raunchy sex scene with 38-year-old Aaron Eckhart. When the film was first shown at the Toronto Film Festival, the shots were fully included, but when the film was displayed at Sundance, in Utah, the scene had been removed. Director Jason Reitman blamed a technical glitch for the cut, joking that if you want to see Katie Holmes topless, you’ll have to rent 2000’s “The Gift.”
