Four stunt people were wounded on Tuesday while taping an episode of the ABC soap opera "All My Children." A scripted explosion got a little out of hand during the taping, causing the injuries. A statement from the show said, "Unfortunately, during a shoot which included planned special effects, four stunt people were injured. All four are expected to make a swift recovery."
The episode that was being taped was part of the highly publicized February sweeps Mardi Gras show. ABC has been promoting the storyline as "an explosion that rocks Pine Valley and its residents" and "emotionally wrought story telling, sensational special effects, action and unbelievable excitement."
