I Ain't Happy, I'm Feelin' Glad: Madonna and Gorillaz Unite
Madonna has had some strange team-ups in the past, but her latest collaboration, due to perform at this year's Grammys on February 8, is on a whole new level: she'll be performing with a cartoon. The Gorillaz, which created the cult hit "Clint Eastwood" and "Feel Good, Inc.," will perform in a completely animated feature, while Madonna performs live. The group also had cartoons, primarily with action, zombies, and bandmates with cool, apathetic poses, in their music video for "Clint Eastwood." The cartoon will appear in 3-D. The Gorillaz are nominated for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals, Best Short Form Music Video for "Feel Good Inc.", Best Urban/Alternative Performance for "Dirty Harry" and Record of the Year, also for "Feel Good, Inc." Madonna and the Gorillaz will join Mariah Carrey, Coldplay, Bruce Springsteen, and U2 at the Grammys.
