Firewall Sputters, Faintly Lights Up the Screen

If you're looking to see yet another "Harrison Ford" movie, "Firewall" is the place to see it. If you're looking for an exciting, different, exceptional or even believable film however, you may want to think twice.

This latest incarnation (Call it "Clear and Present Danger, Mark II") has Ford playing Jack, a computer mastermind (just accept it, it's easier this way) who created the high-tech safeguards for his bank. Jack's life seems to be going well until Paul Bettany ("A Beautiful Mind") kidnaps Jack's family, holding them hostage until Jack helps them out on their heist.
BR> A film that is extraordinarily goofy, to the point where "Get off my plane!" is not the dumbest Harrison Ford phrase in history, "Firewall" is a movie that, like any flame, follows a rambling, meandering course that ultimately becomes the path of least resistance.
