“Brokeback Mountain” Wins London Film Critics’ Award

“Brokeback Mountain,” Ang Lee’s Golden Globe-winning opus of two gay cowboys, took home Film of the Year and Director of the Year during this year’s London Film Critics’ Circle Awards. Bruno Ganz, who played Adolf Hitler in “Downfall” was the first non-British actor to earn Actor of the Year. Naomi Watts, of “King Kong,” finally received her just dues, receiving Actress of the Year. Best British Actor and Actress went to Ralph Fiennes (“The English Patient”) and Rachel Weisz (“The Mummy”) from “The Constant Gardener.”
