Madonna Was "Hung Up" with a Hernia
Madonna received treatment for a hernia after her Grammy performance on Feb. 8.
Madonna has now fully recovered from a hernia. The 47-year-old pop star went to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles following her Grammy opening performance with the Gorillaz last Wednesday. Her rep told reporters, "She had a minor procedure for a hernia and is absolutely fine now."
Madonna made her first public appearance since the injury in London on Wednesday, accepting the Best International Female Solo Artist award at the Brit Awards. Despite rumors of a possible breakup, husband Guy Ritchie accompanied her at the awards.
Madonna plans on touring for her Confessions of a Dance Floor album this summer.
