Crow Recovers from Breast Cancer

Sheryl Crow announced on her website that she's battling breast cancer.

Singer Sheryl Crow underwent surgery for breast cancer in Los Angeles on Wednesday. She is currently recovering well. Her publicist Dave Tomberlin said, "Her doctors think her prognosis is excellent."
Crow announced that she had had the disease on her website. She told her fans that the surgery was "minimally invasive." She said that she will undergo radiation treatment for precautionary reasons and that early detection aided her recovery. She also encouraged women to visit their doctor for checkups. Crowe apologized to her fans for having to postpone her upcoming tour, which was supposed to begin in March.
