Alba Looks to Sue <i>Playboy</i>

Actress Jessica Alba is upset with Playboy magazine over having her picture on their cover. She believes that it implies that there are nude pictures of her inside, which isn't the case.

The Sin City actress was approached by Playboy to grace the cover of the magazine, but rejected the request. Playboy then proceeded to pursue a picture of her by misrepresenting themselves while approaching Columbia Pictures for a shot of the actress from her movie Into the Blue. Alba's lawyer is asking the magazine to stop circulating the issue, or they will request a monetary settlement. Alba made a statement about the issue saying, "Playboy has violated my personal rights and blatantly misled the public, who might think I had given them permission to put me on their cover when I didn't. I'm simply protecting my personal rights, and I hope that they will think twice before they try to do this to someone else."

Alba is featured in the magazine for being one of the twenty-five hottest celebrities. She was named the sexiest star of the year by Playboy's online poll. Playboy claims that this isn't the first time a celebrity was on the cover and not naked on the inside pages.
