James Bond's New Ride
James Bond may be younger than ever, but based on his new car, it looks like he's hitting middle age.
James Bond may be hitting it big in Casino Royale, but his ride certainly won't be reflecting it. Ditching Bond's traditional car, the Aston Martin, new Bond Daniel Craig (Road to Perdition) will be driving a Ford Mondeo, a hit amongst salepeople and soccer moms. According to reports, Ford paid over 14 million pounds (seven times as much as Daniel Craig is being paid) to get their car on screen. The car used in chase scenes will be customized in order to hit speeds of 140 miles per hour. Allegedly, weeks ago, Craig had admitted to filmmakers that he did not even know how to drive the classic Aston Martin DB5.
