Madea Remains on Top

Tyler Perry's Madea's Family Reunion was once again the number one movie at the box office this past weekend.

For the second straight week, "Tyler Perry's Madea's Family Reunion" topped the box office. This week, the comedy grossed $12.6 million. Bruce Willis' latest film "16 Blocks" debuted at number two with $11.9 million. Last week's number two movie, "Eight Below," made $10.1 million and moved down a spot to number three.

Newcomers "Ultraviolet" and "Aquamarine" came in at numbers four and five with $9.1 million and $7.5 million. "The Pink Panther" dropped down three spot to number six. "Dave Chappelle's Block Party" was at number seven, followed by another comedy, "Date Movie," at number eight. Rounding out the weekend's top ten were "Curious George" and "Firewall."
