JUNO Awards Boast Black Eyes and Bombshell

Black Eyed Peas and Hedley the newest additions to this Canadian music awards show.

CTV and the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Science announced on Tuesday another two JUNO performances to add to the growing list.

The Black Eyed Peas and Hedley are confirmed to play at the show, along with previously announced acts by Coldplay, Nickelback, Bedouin Soundclash, Broken Social Scene, Bryan Adams, and Michael Buble. Add host Pamela Anderson to all these famous faces, and you have an awards show worth watching, even if you don't hail from Canada.

The JUNO awards have only been televised since 2002, and have grown increasingly popular ever since. The Winnipeg broadcast in 2005 gained half a million viewers over the previous year, and the numbers are only expected to rise again, when the show goes live from Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Nominees this year include Celine Dion, Diana Krall, Michael Buble, Nickelback, and Simple Plan for the Doritos Fan's Choice award. Up for album of the year are Krall, Nickelback and Buble once again, along with Kalan Porter, and last year's Canadian Idol runner-up, Rex Goudie.

The JUNO awards air Sunday April 2nd on CTV. They are the most watched Canadian awards show.
