Madonna’s Crazy Concert Demands
7-Apr-2006
Written by: Ellen Wernecke
One thing’s for sure, a tour for Madonna isn’t just about renting a good bus.
She may be singing "Like a Virgin," but she expects to be treated like a queen.
Madonna's road rider for her latest tour, according to the New York Daily News, includes 15 cases of Kabbalah water every night and some 90 free tickets -- for her closest friends, natch.
The pop star stipulates that she and her team -- including husband Guy Richie and children Lourdes and Rocco -- will be staying in comfort at some of the country's five-star hotels. But don't expect to see her coming out of the room next door -- the Material Girl is ordering up a whole floor. Perhaps that's so Madonna can enjoy the treatments of her team of skin specialists in private?
Of course, some of this luxe life trickles down -- dancers and band members on the "Confessions on a Dance Floor" tour will be sporting Stella McCartney and Jaul Paul Gaultier couture, with multiple changes every night.
Don't worry, she'll be able to pay for it -- Madonna's 2004 "Re-Invention" tour made a staggering $125 million.
