Hatcher Injured on Set
Teri Hatcher was injured while shooting a scene for "Desperate Housewives."
Actress Teri Hatcher was injured on Tuesday on the set of her hit ABC series "Desperate Housewives." Hatcher was shooting a scene for the show when a light bulb exploded and pieces of it went into her right eye, scratching her cornea. The 41-year-old actress told "People" magazine, "I was taken to a wonderful eye doctor, and now am wearing a most glamorous eye patch over the right half of my face. I like to look at the positive and the good news is, the cornea is the fastest healing tissue in the body." She is expected to go back to work in two days.
Hatcher plays Susan Mayer on "Desperate Housewives" which airs on Sunday nights at 9pm on ABC.
