Snoop Sent to the Pound

Snoop Dogg was arrested after a fight at Heathrow airport in London.

Rapper Snoop Dogg was arrested on Wednesday night after an airport scuffle. Snoop, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, and his thirty-person entourage attempted to get into the British Airways' first class lounge on at Heathrow Airport in London, but only three of them had first class tickets. The group was asked to stay in the business class lounge, but they decided that they would hang out in the duty-free shop instead. It was reported that police were called because the group began throwing bottles around the store and arguing with workers. The 34-year-old rapper and his entourage were then told that they could not get on their flight to Johannesburg, South Africa and were directed to the baggage claim. Upon hearing the news, the group became rowdy and attacked the police officers, injuring seven of them with cuts and bruises, and fracturing one officer's hand. The "Drop It Like It's Hot" rapper and six other males were arrested for violent disorder and affray. Snoop is out on bail and the other men are posting bail as well. The group will return in mid-May for further questioning.
