Blaine in Human Aquarium

David Blaine will stay submerged in water at Lincoln Center in New York City for a week.

Illusionist David Blaine is at it once again. Blaine has been buried alive, frozen alive and now he's going to be drowned alive. On Monday he began his latest endurance test by submerging himself in 2,000 gallons of 96-degree salt water. He will remain in the "human aquarium" in public view at New York's Lincoln Center for an entire week. On May 8, during a live broadcast on ABC, the 33-year-old Brooklyn-ite will perform yet another stunt. He will attempt to break the world record for not breathing by being handcuffed to a chain that weighs 150 pounds and removing his breathing equipment. He will attempt to hold his breath for over nine minutes while under the water.
