Commander in Chief Out Of Office
The Geena Davis drama couldn't gain voters no matter what it did, so it's vacating the White House.
Hillary and Condi, take note.
ABC has pulled its drama "Commander in Chief," about the nation's first female President (played by Geena Davis), after a steady ratings fall throughout the year could not be arrested by time changes and re-screens. Despite getting a wealth of press because of its interesting -- and current! -- premise, "Commander in Chief" just couldn't rule its time slot.
But the series' failure doesn't necessarily mean America is not ready for a female President -- just that it's not watching Geena Davis as that president. And kudos to ABC for putting Davis out there as a role model, even for the few who are watching.
