Keith Richards is DEAD!

Rolling Stones guitarist and recent accident victim, Keith Richards, is apparently in recovery from an operation performed in New Zealand. Richards, one of the Stones' grand old men, suffered some apparently serious head trauma in his fall from a palm tree while vacationing in Fiji. Since then, rumors have flown all over the inter-web concerning the rocker's condition.
Yet, while some were predicting that Richards had suffered permanant brain damage or was even dying as he underwent several desperate operations, officials at the Ascot Hospital gave a more positive official assessment. Although Richards had undergone one operation in order to prevent blood from swelling on the brain, doctors claim all went smoothly and the patient is doing well. However, I am convinced that any Richards that appears in future tours would actually be a fake, a Pauper-esque twin meant to keep the band alive while the real Richards lies in a coma in a secret hospital ward. Okay, not really, but wouldn't that make for interesting daytime TV?
