Meryl Streep To Be Seen At Your Local Starbucks

Did the devil read children's books, too?
Hot on the heels of the announcement that coffee company Starbucks is going to start selling books, actress Meryl Streep (next seen in June's "The Devil Wears Prada") was announced as the first celebrity reader of Starbucks' audiobooks.
Two-time Oscar winner Streep will be reading the children's classic "The Velveteen Rabbit" and the Christmas poem "The Night Before Christmas" for the audiobooks, which will be sold exclusively at Starbucks for the 2006 holiday season before being generally distributed by Random House.
Starbucks made headlines earlier this year by partnering to distribute the feel-good family flick "Akeelah and the Bee."
