Baby Boy for Sorvino

Actress Mira Sorvino and husband Chris Backus added a baby boy to their family. Sorvino gave birth to the 7lb. 8oz. boy, who the couple named Johnny, on Monday evening. Both mother and child are doing well. This is the couple's second child. They already have an 18-month-old daughter named Mattea Angel.

The 38-year-old Oscar-winning actress met 24-year-old Backus in the kitchen during a friend's charades party in the summer of 2003. The couple became engaged a month later. The two wed in June 2004. They had two wedding ceremonies, one at the Santa Barbara Courthouse and another atop a hill on Italy's island of Capri.
