Divorce time for David Lynch
The "Blue Velvet" director was married a month ago and already they have "irreconcilable differences."
With the latest string of celebrity marriages and babies, it's about time we got another good, old-fashioned divorce. David Lynch, creator of "Twin Peaks" and director of "Blue Velvet" has filed for divorce from Mary Sweeney, his third wife. Lynch cited irreconcilable differences as the reason to end their month-long marriage. He and Sweeney, longtime collaborators, have a 14-year-old son, Riley Sweeney Lynch.
Lynch was married twice between 1967 and 1987. He was then involved with Isabella Rossellini, who starred in "Blue Velvet," before he began his relationship with Sweeney.
