DVD Dribble
Couch potatoes will enjoy this edition of the DVD Dribble. All of the DVDs featured are television shows made into DVDs.
Superman soars onto DVD in "Justice League- Season Two." He along with the help of other superheroes including Batman, Wonder Woman, and The Flash, join forces to fight evil and create the Justice League. The twenty-six episodes of season two come on four discs. Shark fans may want to check out "NOVA: Shark Attack!." The documentary series takes an inside look at how sharks kill their prey. There are no special features on this DVD.
We're moving from animal life to human history. "American Experience: Fly Girls" shows the struggles women had to face when they joined the Women Airforce Service Pilots during World War II. Like "Shark Attack," "Fly Girls" was also featured on public television and the DVD also does not contain any special features.
Now we go from real life to animation. Fans of Krypto the Superdog have the opportunity to choose which DVD of the series they would like to snatch up. One of the "Krypto the Superdog, Vol. 1- Cosmic Canine" DVDs includes movie money. Both DVDs include five episodes, a guided tour of Krypto's spaceship, and an unaired promo introduction to the series.
The classic 1976 TV show "Alice" has come to DVD. The DVD is a compilation of some of the show's best episodes. "Alice (Television Favorites Compilation)" contains six episodes and can be read in subtitles in both Spanish and French.
"Project Runway-The Complete Second Season" is strutting its way into stores this month. The second season of the clothing designer reality series, hosted by German supermodel Heidi Klum, hits stores a few weeks prior to the premiere of the third season on Bravo. This DVD does not contain any special features either.
Television fans may want to try something different and pop in one of the DVDs from the list. Unfortunately, most of the DVDs did not contain any special features so the only thing fans of the TV shows can do is watch whenever they want and skip commercials.
