O'Reilly defends Limbaugh and his Viagra
The commentator said the customs search was "political persecution" against Limbaugh.
On June 27, the conservative commentator ran a segment on his Fox News show "The O'Reilly Factor" in which he stated that "powerful people" were trying to "unjustly harm" Rush Limbaugh over his recent Viagra confiscation.
O'Reilly also claimed that having a prescription medication not prescribed to you was not illegal, and called Limbaugh's three hour detainment at the airport "political persecution." While he called it persecution by the "big clubhouse" that is Palm Beach, he failed to acknowledge that Limbaugh was held by US Customs.
In other words, O'Reilly may have stood up to defend Limbaugh, but he failed to change anyone's opinion in either direction. Kudos to you, Bill.
