Survivor's Stephenie LaGrossa Weds Boyfriend
Survivor: Palau and Guatemala castaway Stephenie LaGrossa gets hitched
Stephenie LaGrossa has married her longtime boyfriend, Michael Ward, a high-school history teacher, Friday in Seaside Heights, N.J., where the two first met.
LaGrossa, a former pharmaceutical sales rep, gained national attention on 2005's 'Survivor: Palau' and later on the reunion show 'Survivor: Guatemala." Unfortunately, LaGrossa only made it to the final two, losing the $1 million prize to Danni Boatwright.
According to PEOPLE magazine, the couple's wedding was beach-themed with "Life's a Beach" printed on all fans, drink stirrers and candles. "We're huge beach people," LaGrossa told PEOPLE. "He loves to surf. I love the beach. We wanted to definitely have something on the beach."
Both 'Palau' winner Tom Westman and 'Guatemala' winner Danni Boatwright attended the happy occasion.
