Pink Floyd fans can now rejoice. After many years, "Pulse" has finally made its way from VHS to DVD. The two-disc DVD features 180 minutes of live concert footage and includes an eight-page booklet, bootleg videos, music videos, album cover art, photo gallery, concert-only audio and "tour stuff."
Now it's time for Rush fans to get in on all of the fun. "Replay" is a three DVD, one CD box set that includes four hours of concert footage. The DVDs feature "Exit Stage Left" filmed at the Forum in Montreal, "Grace Under Pressure" from Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto, and "A Show of Hands" from the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, England. Also included are the CD for "Grace Under Pressure" and reproductions of the original booklets.
A look behind the scenes of one of the most interesting musical and cultural events is up next. "Burning Man: Beyond Black Rock" hits stores this summer. It's a documentary that was filmed over the course of 18 months, as organizers put together a week's worth of activities showcasing artistic expression in Black Rock, Nev.
The next DVD will blow your mind. "The Mentalist" contains Gerry MacCambridge's one hour and 40-minute television special that aired on NBC. Also included are lost footage, a bio and behind the scenes of "The Scooter Drive."
"Tommy Emmanuel - Live at Her Majesty's Theater" takes the Dribble back to rock. The DVD contains interviews and footage of Australian jazz/rock artist, Tommy Emmanuel, from his concert in Ballrat, Australia.
This edition of the DVD Dribble closes out with a laugh. "Billy Connolly: Live in New York" DVD contains the Scottish comedian's sold out 2005 "Too Old To Die Young Tour" show at New York's Town Hall. Connolly came back from a three year break to bring his audience 90-minutes of his routines on this DVD.
