Hell's Kitchen, Season 2 Episode 6, Recap 7/17

The chefs are charged with creating their own three-course meal. The Red Team wins the challenge while the Blue Team gets put on delivery duty. At the dinner service each team is allowed to create their own menus. The Blue Team completes their service, but a complicated menu sinks the Red Team and Maribel is sent home.

Following Rachel's elimination, Sara confesses to Maribel she can't believe her friend is gone.
The next morning, the chefs are awakened by the souse chefs who charge into the dorms, bullhorns blaring. They scoop up the chefs and take them downtown to the public market where Chef Ramsey instructs each team to find the perfect ingredients for creating a three-course meal.
Back at HELL'S KITCHEN the chefs present their dishes to Chef Ramsey. It's a close race but Ramsey declares the Red Team the winners. As a reward they'll be spending a night out with him, while the Blue Team will be on delivery duty.
The chefs meet Chef Ramsey the next morning. Impressed with the menus from the last challenge Ramsey allows the teams to create their own dishes for tonight's service.
HELL'S KITCHEN opens and diners are allowed to choose between each teams' menu. The Red Team struggles with their dishes while the Blue Team drops everything and rushes out back to unload even more crates of wine. Sara still hasn't produced a single lamb entree and with customers growing impatient Ramsey cuts the lamb from the menu. Meanwhile, the Blue Team completes their entire service. But the Red Team continues to struggle and Ramsey orders the Blue Team to the red kitchen to assist.
The chefs finish the service and Ramsey scolds the Red Team for their lousy performance. He then tells each of them to choose someone for elimination. At elimination, Ramsey asks for their decision. He cuts them off before they can answer, however, and says he doesn't care and they should all plead their cases. Sara claims she's a unifying force on the team, while Maribel says she feels like the third wheel on her team, but she still keeps fighting. Ramsey then eliminates Maribel because in order to run a restaurant you need to be a leader.
